Hosted as part of the iconic Rose Bowl and Rose Parade, the annual Run with the Roses event in Pasadena is an exciting opportunity to kick off the new year. By leaning into this cultural moment, lululemon aims to engage the social competitor and reinforce its run authority through a unique blend of performance and community on New Year’s Eve.
Solution
Our solution was a targeted copy and visual refresh that spoke directly to the athlete’s desire for both community and personal achievement, in a playful, encouraging and conversational tone. We updated banners, race bibs, cheer signs, race arches and supporting print material to reinforce lululemon’s authority in the run category and delight the social competitor.
